From 2019-2021 I was a full-time producer for KION News Channel 5/46, a CBS affiliate on the Central Coast of California.
I produced the 10 and 11 p.m. newscasts on the CW and CBS, covering Salinas, Monterey, Santa Cruz and surrounding areas. I was then promoted to producing the 5 and 6 p.m. newscasts which garner more viewers.
During my time, I stacked each show and wrote all the scripts on AP ENPS while filling numerous roles and adhering to strict deadlines.
Each day, I aimed to keep my audience engaged with every newscast.
